DUBAI: The sparkling trophy of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) third edition will be unveiled today (Tuesday) during a ceremony that will be held at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The event will showcase the coveted trophy being unveiled by the captains of all six teams taking part in the tournament together.

PSL chief Najam Sethi will also address a press conference along with Naveed Asghar, Darren Sammy, Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, Brendon McCullum, Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfraz Ahmed.

The star-studded event will feature renowned singers coming together under the PSL banner, some of which include legendary Sufi singer Abida Parveen, American pop star Jason Derulo, as well as Pakistani heartthrobs Ali Zafar and Shehzad Roy.

Axios said that when the aide was stopped, Kelly — who had already entered the hall — rushed to where the aide was being detained and ordered all U.S. personnel to continue into the Great Hall and disregard Chinese instructions. A “commotion” ensued, Swan said, in which a Chinese security official lunged at Kelly and grabbed him, which Kelly responded to by shoving the man’s hands away. A Secret Service officer then tackled the Chinese official and wrestled him to the ground.

The whole confrontation was over in a matter of moments, but the question remains as to how it happened. White House officials assured Swan that they did all the necessary advance work to coordinate with Chinese officials.

But, Swan wrote, “somebody at the Chinese end either didn’t get the memo or decided to mess with the Americans anyway.”
